Main Street Cosmetic & Skin operates on appointment based consultations. To book an appointment, please call reception on 03 9739 3830.
Emergency and urgent cases will be seen on the day. Our trained staff will triage the urgency based on the presenting condition.
“Walk-ins” will be offered the next available appointment where possible.
Please notify reception if you are unable to keep your appointment or are running late. 24 hours advance notice is much appreciated.
We operate an SMS reminder service two days prior to your appointment for your convenience, this also allows our doctors to keep appointments as efficient as possible and allow for changes you may require.

- 2 hour parking is available in Castella Street, Lilydale (30 metres to the east of the practice)
- All-day parking is available in Market Street, Lilydale (off Castella Street)
Access to Health Information
Provision of access to health information incurs a fee. This fee depends on the level of access desired and the time involved. Transferring an Individuals Health Information to another Health Service Provider. There is a fee for transferring patient histories to another clinic.
Telephoning your Doctor
For emergency telephone advice from your Doctor, please call reception. Our staff are trained and experienced in helping triage whether the matter requires a phone consultation with the doctor, or whether an appointment, or a return phone call from the practice is appropriate.
Main Street Cosmetic & Skin participates in National and State Health Information Registers (e.g the Childhood Immunisation Register and the Victorian Cytology Register).
In conjunction with our own recall system we provide patient reminders that will be sent to you for your continuity of care i.e pap smears, vaccinations, health assessments, medication reviews, etc.
It is the policy of the clinic for the patient to book a follow up consultation for the collection of results. This will be explained to you in your first consultation.
In the case of urgent or abnormal results, the clinic will contact you by telephone to book an appointment at your next convenience. If the clinic cannot contact you via telephone, a letter will be sent advising your recall details.
Under no circumstances will results be given over the telephone. An appointment must be booked at the clinic at which your test results will be provided to you.
It is the policy of this practice to maintain the security of personal health information at all times. We value your privacy and your information is only available to authorised staff members. The practice complies with the Health Records Act (Victoria 2001), the Privacy Act (Commonwealth 1988) and the Health Services (Conciliation and Review) Act 1995.
